#DESTINY 2 XUR UPDATE#

Next week’s mid-season update will re-balance a bunch of weapons, including buffs to auto rifles and some very minor nerfs to a few other weapons like scout rifles. In the meantime, Bungie also announced some big and small changes coming to the rest of Destiny 2. There’s even a new Rhulk mask so everyone can dress up as their favorite Witness Disciple. The event will also add a sniper rifle with a new origin perk called Search Party that buff’s aim and movement speed when you’re solo. Hunters look cool, but the mech-theme clearly plays best with the bulky Titan aesthetic, so I will be dusting mine off after a couple seasons in storage. The Gundam-ass armor will be available throughout Festival of the Lost. Last year’s theme was dinosaurs, and it was…fine! This year, players voted for either mechs or monsters, and naturally mechs won (monsters, meanwhile, lost for the second year in a row).

But I’m getting a big dose of Gundam, and I’m super pumped about it.įestival of the Lost goes live on October 18, and while Bungie hasn’t revealed the full details on how this year’s version will work, it traditionally revolves around wearing masks, shooting haunted enemies, and collecting the space candy that falls out to trade in for festive goodies. Nothing that helps players or improves the experience.Destiny 2’s big spooky event is just around the corner, and Bungie finally teased the new mech-inspired armor players will be chasing. Hell, you changed Veles to make the lost sector RNG and eliminated the ability to farm 2 different pieces in a day! Those were your changes so far. Whether it's focusing exotics, glass needles, or simply weighting new exotics to fall more often than Y1 exotics that have been around since the beginning.īungie - this is one system that has been ignored since Beyond Light introduced lost sectors.

Suggestions have been made for years about farming lost sectors. A 67 Ashen Wake with awesome stats blah blah blah. Nabbed a 68 Synthoceps with all the right stats. In that time, I got a few decent replacements for other arms. So I keep running them because I actually don't mind farming for better exotics.Ģ0+ runs = Fine, not my day 50+ runs = Jeez, really didn't want me getting that replacement 100+ runs = I need to keep track of this shit, because it's a bit absurd 200+ runs = Oh, I better get a god roll at this point that I will never use! 300+ runs = Yeah, this is going up on Reddit at some pointĤ17th run since the start of the season, I finally saw my second Point Contact. My Hunter can do chest day to get a better Gyrfalcon when that comes around (Warlock is pretty set on exotic rolls). I'll do the lost sectors that I like, when arms day is around.

But it's a 58 roll, so at least let me get a 60+ that will sit in my vault forever! I have all season to replace it, so what's the rush? 58 roll on a exotic I will probably never use. But it really needs to be reiterated how demoralizing the experience is and will continue to get, each new season that introduces more to the loot pool.Įarlier this season on the 1st lost sector for arms, I got the new exotic for my Titan. There's been plenty of posts about lost sectors and the current state of them + exotic farming.
